Who we are
The main objective of the Phoenix Foundation is to provide humanitarian assistance to the affected citizens of Ukraine as a result of armed conflicts, rebuild infrastructure facilities, eliminate the consequences of armed aggression against Ukraine, stimulate economic growth and development of the Ukrainian economy through the development of entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship in Ukraine in the war and post-war period, as well as support civil society organizations in their networking, education and development.
The dream (vision) of the Phoenix Foundation is a restored Ukraine, where every citizen, regardless of age, gender or profession, has housing and a job.
Our focuses
Humanitarian aid
The goal of the Phoenix Foundation is to help Ukrainian citizens affected by armed conflicts, which is why, since the beginning of the full-scale war against our country, we have united with active like-minded people. As part of the volunteer group, we actively responded to absolutely all requests for help: from grandparents, low-income families, internally displaced persons, as well as our heroic military, who are defending every piece of our native land from the invader.
We made many targeted deliveries of food and medicines to elderly people and low-income families. We used our own and raised funds to buy and deliver everything they needed, from oatmeal for their grandmother to clothes and shoes for their children.
To date, we have decided to focus on supporting internally displaced persons living in various united territorial communities of our country.
We are working on collecting and processing information on the priority needs of IDPs, as well as on finding donors to implement projects to provide humanitarian aid to the victims.
Reconstruction
The goal of the Phoenix Foundation is to help Ukrainian citizens affected by armed conflicts, which is why, since the beginning of the full-scale war against our country, we have united with active like-minded people. As part of a volunteer group, we actively responded to requests for assistance in evacuating citizens from the areas where active hostilities were taking place, as well as finding housing for temporary settlement.
It is impossible to estimate the number of homes destroyed by the bombing, as new aggressive shelling and rocket attacks take place every day.
The team of the Phoenix Foundation decided to prioritize assistance in the arrangement of houses and buildings allocated by the united territorial communities for the joint residence of internally displaced persons.
Prepare existing living spaces for the winter, as not every building is designed for permanent residence during the cold season. To do this, we need to conduct an audit of temporary housing, as well as a list of necessary equipment or repairs to create comfortable conditions for any time of year.
The next step will be to search for donors and philanthropists to support projects to rebuild the destroyed residential and infrastructure facilities.
Entrepreneurship and Social Entrepreneurship
The purpose of the Phoenix Foundation is to help Ukrainian citizens affected by the armed conflicts, as well as to stimulate economic growth and development of the Ukrainian economy.
We recognize that without operating businesses, large and small, the country's economy will stand still. To prevent this, we have decided to make support of entrepreneurs and social enterprises one of the main tasks of the Foundation.
What does this mean?
The Phoenix Foundation team, together with its partners, is working on developing a program to provide financial and non-financial support to entrepreneurs who are ready to employ internally displaced persons and crisis populations.
The program will pay special attention to social enterprises, and we plan to:
● launch educational projects to teach social entrepreneurship;
● promote the development of closer ties between social enterprises in Ukraine
promote the development of specialized legislation for social entrepreneurs.
