Rebuilding Chernihiv region by the FENIX Foundation

As part of a grant received from the Taipei Representative Office to assist Ukraine under the project "Creating Slovak-Ukrainian Partnerships in Infrastructure Reconstruction, Humanitarian Aid, and Civil Society Development," from March to October 2024, we implemented the project "Reconstruction of Chernihiv Region" by the "Phoenix" Foundation."

According to the project, major renovations were carried out using energy-saving technologies and taking into account the inclusivity of damaged buildings, including two Youth Centers and the building of the Rescue Service, as well as ongoing repairs to the School and Hospital, and renovation of the bomb shelter at the Lyceum. All facilities are located in the Chernihiv region. For security reasons, we cannot specify the exact locations of the reconstructed objects at this time.

Internal waterproofing of the external walls and floor was completed, a ventilation system was installed, walls in the shelter were finished, and the floor was cemented with a leveling layer. This will provide youth with a renovated space for organizing activities during air raid alerts.
